Step2: 会話の流れに注目！
次に、会話全体の流れを追いながら、「相手への同意」「意見の根拠を説明」など各セリフが果たす役割に注目しましょう。
特に、セリフの最初に出てくる「つなぎ言葉」や「相づち」、最後に「ボールを相手に投げ返す質問」のパターンをつかんでおくと、実際の会話に応用することができます。
Woman: Look, I bought this pair of shoes from an online shop. I’m really happy with the purchase.
見て、この靴をオンラインショップで買ったの。本当に買ってよかったわ。

Man: Wow, they look great! Speaking of online shopping, my wife recently got some kitchen gadgets. The quality was surprisingly good.
わお、すごくいいね！オンライン・ショッピングと言えば、最近、妻がキッチン用品を買ったんだ。品質が予想以上に良かったよ。
Wow, they look great!（相手の発言に反応：持ち物を褒める）▶ Speaking of online shopping,（関連質問を持ち出す）▶ my wife recently got some kitchen gadgets.（自分の家族の体験をシェアする）▶ The quality was surprisingly good.（感想を補足する）
Woman: That’s great to hear! I love how online shopping is so convenient. You can shop anytime, anywhere, and there’s such a wide variety of products.
それは良かったわね！オンラインショッピングの便利さが大好き。いつでもどこでも買い物ができるし、商品の種類も豊富だもの。
That’s great to hear! （相手に共感を示す）▶ I love how online shopping is so convenient. （自分の気持ちを述べる）▶ You can shop anytime, anywhere, （理由を説明する）▶ and there’s such a wide variety of products.（別の理由を説明する）
Man: Absolutely! But physical stores have their own benefits. You can actually see or try out the product, which can prevent disappointment.
その通り！けど、リアル店舗ならではの良さもあるよ。商品を実際に見たり試したりできるから、失敗が少ないんだ。
【自分の意見＋根拠を説明】
Absolutely!（相手に強い同意を示す）▶ But physical stores have their own benefits.（同意した後で逆の意見を述べる）▶ You can actually see or try out the product, （理由＝利点を説明する）▶ which can prevent disappointment.（利点を補足説明する）
Woman: True, but don’t you find it hard to compare prices? You’d have to visit multiple stores, and that’s just time-consuming.
その通りだけど、価格を比較するのは大変じゃない？いくつもの店舗を訪れなきゃいけないし、時間がかかるわよ。
